Centre fixing kayak seat

The Gees lightweight kayak seat with it's 5 ply Sapele faced top gives the 'classic' Gees look. Drilled out front and back supports and large elliptical hole in the base reduces weight without compromising strength. The 5mm underseat closed cell foam give a snug fit while protecting boat and seat from grit abrasion. Made to fit a wide range of K1, K2, and K4 boats. Available in two looks classic or super the Gees lightweight is designed for the serious paddler.

Adjustable platform kayak seat

With 5 heights and 3 pitch settings the Gees adjustable platform kayak seat is great for the paddler who wants precision adjustment, and is transferable between K1, K2, and K4 boats. Forward and backward adjustment of 17 holes gives fine adjustment for leg positioning. The fine-tuning allows you to achieve your optimum paddling position. Stylishly shaped so the seat can fit in narrow designs of the modern kayak and available in two looks classic or super.

Customise your kayak seat

At Gees we believe that to maximise your paddling performance, the key is comfort that's why you can chose height, pitch, seat holes and coccyx cut outs. Centre fixing seats are all made to fit individual models of kayak (please specify model). Super seats are available in a wide range of face veneers and all have a superior finish.

Platform

The Gees platform is made from 9mm plywood. Designed for the Gees adjustable seat this extremely lightweight product is very reliable. The pin centres are 170mm and the pins are 6mm in diameter. Very easy to epoxy glue into any design of K1.

Adjustable Seat Clamp

Used for securing the Gees adjustable seat to the adjustable seat platform. Included in an adjustable seat set.

Adjustable seat Aluminum runners details

Aluminum runners come as standard with the Gees adjustable seat. They allow the seat to be adjusted into 17 positions at 7.6mm increments forward or backwards. They have five height settings at 5mm increments, which also allow for three pitch settings.

5mm Plastic thumb nut

Enables easy fitting of, footrests, seats, rudders, and other accessories. Fits all 5mm bolts, 20mm diameter.

Underseat foam

This will considerably extend the life of your Gees centre fixing seat. The 5mm thick closed cell foam cut to the exact shape of Gees seats will provide a snug fit to stop grit abrasion.

Tiller bar

Made in 210mm width (ideal for all boats) and 280mm width (designed wide boats e.g. beginner or touring). The maple stick is extremely hard, which reduces wear this helps to prevent friction and gives the paddler smooth turning. Pre-drilled holes in the crossrail are positioned to take the rudder wire in one continuous length, so no fixing or jointing is needed.

Footrest plate

Available in front (slot for tiller bar) and back, the footrest plate is made from 9mm plywood, this gives excellent strength and durability for years to come. An added bonus is the footrest plate is warmer. There are no pre-drilled fixing holes allowing the footrest plate to be fixed and positioned to the paddlers own requirements.
